Every week at Mountain Roots Day Camp, campers have the opportunity to explore the topics of nature, art, music, gardens, community, and more. We structure the day so that there are times for free play and times for activities.
Our full-day camp activities are designed for rising 1st-5th grade campers.
A note to parents of 5th graders: as your child looks at summer opportunities, we'd like to remind you that our rising 5th graders are the leaders of our camper community. If your child enjoys structured activities, freeplay, and outdoor exploration, Mountain Roots could be a great fit. If your child is growing out of these sorts of activities, then it might not be.
